Re: [pde-dev] Discontinue API Tools ( was Re: What do API tools want here?)

Hi,

I'm late because I was on vacation. I think we clarified the original issue meanwhile.

To close the discussion here: if anyone has a working replacement that has no (or less) bugs and provides same (or better) functionality as API Tools, both on command line and in the IDE, feel free to provide a PR.

Until then we have to use *and maintain* API tools, as long as we want to provide some kind of API stability for clients in platform.
If we drop this requirement (provide stable API's), we can stop using API tools, but that is a different discussion.
