[p2-dev] RE: Re-naming a site

Title: Re-naming a site
The name of the site comes from the name attribute on the repository element of both the content.xml and artifacts.xml. If you own the site then you can set this to whatever you like. Otherwise you are stuck with whatever the site creator has called it, or the URL if they have not set the name.

Subject: [p2-dev] Re-naming a site

I hope this is the correct place to ask this question. I apologize if it isn't.

In the eclipse 3.4 update manager, I noticed that when I try and add my own site, it only prompts for the URL of the site, and not the name.  The name of the site defaults to the URL but it would nice to provide a more human readable name.  This was available in eclipse 3.3.  Is there a way to do this in 3.4?
