[orbit-dev] Bundles including OpenJDK distribution and p2 installation

Hi,

With https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=506244#c99 and https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=506244#c105 , Eclipse projects are now allowed to ship with OpenJDK.
We'd like to use OpenJDK to include it in some EPP packages so a Java installation is not a pre-requisite anymore. This also can be useful for any Equinox-based/p2 application: Sirius, Papyrus,...
So we're looking for a place where to host the artifacts containing OpenJDK (and related source code). Orbit seems to be a good place for that according to the declared goal of the project.

Is this something Orbit would welcome?
If going into Orbit, I think it'd be best to start by having dedicated Git and p2 repos for that work, as technically things would be built differently and may be published with different timeframes. Would that work?

Thanks in advance!
