Thanks for the quick response. I think there needs to be a discussion about who will do release engineering for Wikitext before we can move forward. Currently it is mostly done by me as part of Mylyn releases but it's inconvenient because I am not a committer on Mylyn Docs. If Wikitext is going to become a separate project with separate releases, someone else will need to take on that work.

>From an Eclipse perspective, it's the project doing the work. As there will be an overlap with the Mylyn committers, I actually expect the same people will do the work that also did it in the past.

No, this is not a requirement. A project may want to decide to use a new namespace in the future. However, given the existing community it doesn't make sense to break all adopters at this time.
