That would be a great release! I've recently read your post about v5 draft and I must say that the expiration feature is what MQTT was missing. Can't wait to see it in action.

Hi Fabian,
Yes I'd like to get 1.5 released before the end of the year. There are
three tasks remaining, finishing the authentication changes, finishing
the persistence changes and (possibly) adding support for draft MQTT
v5 support.
Tongue in cheek, the Strctly Come Dancing tv show starts here soon, so
I'll have plenty of good opportunity for locking myself in another
room and concentrating on coding.
