Yes, can check and do the cleanup.
I believe that for many of the older releases I archived the standalone packages and left only the update sites. I’ll have a look.

I think we should archive some of the older releases so that the mirrors don't have to store them.
For example at least the following:
- 1.8
- 1.8.1
- 1.9.0
- 1.9.1
- 2018-09
- 2019-06
- 2019-09

I think it is just the case of clicking the button while logged into https://download.eclipse.org/mat/ if others agree.
Once they are archived the standard download links via http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/download.php should redirect to the archive automatically.
