About Lua, has anybody been in touch with the Lua side of the Brazilian lead Ginga initiative for TV and Embedded Middleware?

I believe in some countries like Argentina we heard, GingaJ (the Java implementation of the Ginga standard and protocols) has even been abandoned in favour of NCL/Lua. Where that happened, it's usually due to license issues, e.g. aroung JavaTV not being open enough;-)
