Re: [linuxtools-dev] Juno SR1 Release
|
The system is not automated. I test aggregation and then make that the
stable build. We are in RC3 now and should be stabilizing.
What bug fixes did you make? Are they crucial? Today is +3 aggregation
day and
I can't seem to log into build.eclipse.org. There is a chance I can get
it in today, but I am not having success in logging into
build.eclipse.org and staying logged in.
Next week is the last aggregation build. If we fail aggregation then we
are in big trouble so if I can't get your stuff in today, you will have
to justify the changes are crucial for RC4. Note that the RC4 build
will become 1.1.1.
Don't forget that users can still get fixes via updates-nightly-juno
after SR1 is released.

Hello
Which build are we planning to use for SR1 RC4? I'm asking that
because RC3 was build and labelled on Hudson on September 6th.
However, I pushed 2 bugfixes for LTTng to stable-1.1 on September 7th.
I was hoping that these fixes would be included in the release. Please
let me know.
Thanks

Sure, as discussed, if I can make it work without causing an update issue from SR0 to SR1.

Having 1.1.1 released for just this change and submitted as our SR1 contribution sounds like the right thing to do?
Jeff, do you want to do it ?

I personally have a patch to add a C-only version of the ChangeLog
feature which could be used by the SR! CPP EPP package so as not
to drag in any JDT stuff.
This seems very important to me.
