[linux-distros-dev] Sucessful Creation Review!

Hi,

Sorry I didn't send this yesterday but our Creation Review went
smoothly!  We're now in the "Validation Phase" of the Eclipse
Development Process.  This means that we have to do such things as
produce a high level design and produce a project plan.

We also have to fill out the new project provisioning request form [1].
I think most of it I can take care of most of it, but what should the
official project name and "shortname" (for use with java packages) be?
I'm thinking:

    Eclipse on Linux Distributions

and

    linux => ex. org.eclipse.linux.changelog

Is "linux" too broad?  Perhaps linuxdistros?  linuxtools?  Anyone have
any suggestions?

We also need to have a Bugzilla Product and list of Components.  I'm
thinking:

    LinuxDistros

and

    ChangeLog
    OProfile
    RPM
    Scripts

as an initial set.  Is that okay?
