Re: [incquery-dev] New Xtext - Xbase is becoming API

We’ve discussed this with Zoli.

0.8.1 will be built and released as compatible with Xtext 2.6.x and Xcore 1.2.0). We’ll try to do our best to accommodate to the changes introduced for Luna SR1 (Xtext 2.7.x and Xcore 1.2.1) and perhaps consider this for 0.8.2.

At the moment, Tomi is working on our MPS demo for ECE2014 and after that’s done I’ll ask him to take a look at this again.

thanks
Istvan

Hi all,

sorry for not letting this issue go, but now it seems really bad for me.

Today, Luna SR1 came out that has Xtext 2.7.2 in the Luna repository - in other words, we have no builds that can be installed over the Luna repository (not just no release, but no milestone, and "preferably" no integration build as well)...

To me it makes sense we do not backport the Xtext 2.7-compatibility to 0.8.1, as basically the entire model inferrer was rewritten (-> really big change); however, not having _any_ version installable is quite a different issue...

Cheers,
Zoli
