[gyrex-dev] Distribution Packaging

The merger of the Gyrex and Corona projects will provide addition set of Eclipse features that will needed to be packaged for distribution.  We will need to define what these are and how they will be deployed to the Eclipse server-side platform.

 

I propose that everything provided within a P2 repository that contains the following:

·         Eclipse product: core server-side runtime

·         Eclipse features:

o   Management

o   Diagnostics

o   SDK

o   Exemplary OSGi Service Applications

§  Web Container

§  Database Container

 

The project could provide EPP distributions that contain popular combinations of functionality.
