As per my note from a week or 2 ago, update of packages is something we should strive for in this release.
I think you are not finding an update because there is no update of your product available. For an update to be available, an update of the IU that you've initially installed must be present in the repo.
I think we had discussed that the IUs resulting from the product builds would eventually be added to the galileo repo to allow for these scenarios, however I don't think the old builder was doing this.
