Good news at the end of a long day!

With this contribution, we hopefully can integrate the p2-based installer
with 
the initial Ganymede release and do not have to wait until fall.

I highly appreciate this offer and would be happy to integrate this code 
contribution into EPP. And it is even better if we have the creators of this

code as committers on the project.

@ Ian, can we organize a conference call on Wednesday with your call in 
number? Usual time 4pm CEST / 10am EDT? This would be one item to discuss on

the call.
