Thanks a lot Greg. This is very interesting.

Nate, you need an OMG member id as this is only an initial submission. I will send you the file directly.

Thanks and best regards,

You might look at the Software Metrics Meta-Model (SMM) from the Architecture Driven Modernization (ADM) task force of the OMG:

All documents available from adm.omg.org

No, it was just not in scope, yet.  Any suggestions are very welcome.

In SPEM 2.0 we modeled Metrics as Describable Elements (i.e. documentation) that also own a list of formal UML Infrastructure Value Specifications, which is what we currently planning of implementing.

Thanks and best regards,
Peter Haumer.

Did anyone tried to model process & product metrics method elements with EPF? How is the best way to do it? I know this seems just not to be an [epf-“DEV”] question, but mi concern is that the “metrics” world has been considered or just that when designing the epf-composer, a better solution to handle the metrics problematic was found, like, for instance, a combination of tasks, guidelines, terms definitions, roles and workproducts (that is, roles for metrics collection and reporting responsibles, guidelines for metrics computation, terms definitions for formulae, workproducts for source data and tasks to glue everything).

Which are your experiences on the topic?
