Re: [egit-dev] How to test eclipse 3.4 compatibility?

Can't we just depend on 0.1 in the generated manifest and let it pick up either?

In terms of the checkout, if the IP was already cleared for 3.4 then isn't it already in Orbit and available without needing a new CQ?

This is the easiest option and should work for us now. Another option

I just pushed changes http://egit.eclipse.org/r/382 and
http://egit.eclipse.org/r/383. This target platform definition file
based on Eclipse 3.4 update site and shows that EGit nor JGit
incompatible with Eclipse 3.4 due to the dependency on com.jcraft.jsch
version 0.1.41. But Ganymede provides 0.1.37.

Ugh.

Submit a patch to wind our dependency back to 0.1.37? Its probably
too late for our 0.7.0 release as we would need to open a new CQ
for 0.1.37 reuse and get our IP log approved again.
