European Marketing Working Group Call Minutes on Eclipse Booth at CeBIT September 28, 2010 at 4:00 pm CET Next Call: Wednesday, October 13th at 4:00pm CEST (same details as before, see bottom of email for registration) Confirmed companies: Actuate Bredex EclipseSource SOPERA - 1 SOPERA - 2 TBD: SIGS Datacom, Suzanne Herl Inspire, Michael Otte Eclipse Foundation CeBIT 2010 results Qualified leads per company - 40-60 Postcard mailings - 3000 - demonstrates lots of traffic, but lead gen from the prize drawings was not very successful - high volume, no quality Open Source Park - had good traffic, located across from mini-theater from Linux mag Todos: - contact Linux mag regarding Eclipse series in the Forum (Pluspol has contact) - Katharina - Create Eclipse flags for better branding on the booth - Susan - Ralph re: Itemis, other interested? - Susan - need to extend deadline - notify Pluspol we have 5 confirmed, and more may follow - Katharina Ideas: - Demo area - TBD - Participate more in press events and have a joint press release - Poster - TBD - SIGS datacom - insert about the Eclipse Island - organize discount for Hotel in Hildesheim - facebook/twitter posts - organized so that all companies on the booth prepare 1 post per day and publish under the eclipse logo - Robbie Roboter - EUR 300
