Right, I completely forgot about this.
We’ll use it next time.

Subject: [dsdp-pmc] VOTE: DD
project lead change
Hello
PMC,
As
discussed in today’s PMC meeting, I am nominating Pawel Piech from Wind
River Systems to replace me as the Project Lead for the DD project.
To
summarize what I said in the call for Mika’s benefit:
·
I am unable to give DD enough focus given my other Eclipse and Wind River commitments. It is important to me that
DD reach a 1.0 release for the Ganymede train.
·
Pawel is already the architectural lead for the project and has
been driving the technical roadmap for several months now.
·
In addition to designing the Debugger Services Framework (DSF),
Pawel has organized the other developers outside of WR to help implement the
exemplary tools portion of the project (a GDB debugger integration.)
·
Pawel’s primary job at Wind River
will be the technical and project leadership of DD.
As
has been my desired approach with the PMC up to this point, Pawel will join us
on the PMC if we vote him in as project lead on DD.
Please
vote.
Doug
