I understand the pain this causes. Hopefully an ANTLR 3 port is relatively painless.

 

One subtle point that you might not be aware of: although you can’t rely on ANTLR 2.x, the EclipseME code that was using it can still be checked into Eclipse CVS. Then whoever is doing the ANTLR 3 migration can use the existing code as a starting point.

Our emails must have crossed in the ether... This is unfortunate, as it immediately puts MTJ one step behind EclipseME.  While I understand the reasons, it makes it difficult for me to easily transition myself and EclipseME users over to MTJ.

Sorry, but that is not going to work.

 

I think we should go back to Eclipse legal and request approval for the older version of ANTLR.  I can't imagine why there would be a substantial issue.
