[cosmos-dev] build requirements for eclipsecon demo

I opened bug 173354 (https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=173354)
for tracking the work and gathering requirements for creating the build
for the eclispecon demo.  Please let me know what need to be built,
what dependencies do we need, etc, by adding comments to this bug.
