[cdt-dev] Make Project Explorer the default

Hi all,

I would like to propose making the Project Explorer the default
project tree view for the C/C++ perspective.

The Project Explorer is the platform provided generic project view based
on the
Common Navigator Framework which is capable of viewing content from
different
project types side by side and providing support for extensions by ISVs.

With the availability of the CDT specific content extensions for this
view (see
bug 140337) the C/C++ Projects view is almost completely replicated
inside the
Project Explorer.
