[cdt-dev] Verifying bug fixes in two streams

Hi CDT Dev,

I've seen a few defects fixed in both Head 2.0 stream and in 1.2.1 stream.
What is the intended process for verifying these defects? Are submitters
expected to verify on both streams, or just whichever one is more
convenient? Would it be wise to replicate the defects when they are going
to be patched on two streams (because verification may happen at different
times, and with different results)? In fact, would it be wiser to submit
patches on each stream under a separate defect (because the patch may be
different for each stream)? Or am I needlessly asking for more automated
Bugzilla email?

On a side note, is there a canonical list of defects which 1.2.1 is
intended to address?

Cheers,

- Brent
