[cdt-dev] Cannot run JUnit/PDE tests out of CVS

After getting the lastest source from CVS, trying to run the JUnit Core 
Automated Integration suite, I get the following error: 
        cannot resolve classpath container : 
org.eclipse.pde.core.requiredPlugins

I get the same error regardless of whether Preferences>Plug-in 
Development>Java build path control > 'Use classpath containers...'  is 
selected or not. 
Any tips on how to get past this?
