The fact is that Sonar is easy to set up *if and only if* there is a server available for Eclipse projects somewhere. It is currently not the case. Although its usage could be optional, having such a server available part of the CBI (like Hudson) makes sense.
To be more clear: it is impossible to get quality analysis for Eclipse projects while there is no good quality analysis tool available at eclipse.org.
