I agree. The documentation needs more work. We have every intention to improve it before we 
make our final 1.0.0 release.

No, it's not :-) What you see in CVS is what is about to become the 1.0.0 release. We're 
working hard to make that happen. When it's ready, you will not need to pick it from CVS.
