Re:Re: [aspectj-users] How to match a Java build-in type?

Sorry, it was my fault, they work. However when I tried to weave into the Object type (to change the structure of Object) using inter-type declaration, aspectJ told me that it was not exposed to the weaver. Is there a way to weave into it?

Thanks, fang.

Those pointcuts look fine. Can you show the code (call site) where you expected a match?

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if we could use AspectJ to match a Java build-in type, say String or Object. I tried pointcut like call(*.new(..)) and call(* Object.*(..)), but they didn't work. Anyone got a hint?

Regards with thanks,
Fang
