As Mik has already said, the details
of the latest build configuration design can be found here:

To summarise, this design involves new
.ajproperties files which use the standard properties file syntax. Changes
to the current configuration can be made easily via the package explorer,
 in addition to using a custom editor. Options are included to support
converting from .lst files, and back again.

The first implementation of this design
(subject to further changes due to feedback!) should be included in the
upcoming v1.1.11 release of AJDT.
