Another facet of this ‘feature’ was that I got a second “Java” entry (but with no child prefs) in the Window->Preferences menu

 

Okay.  This does look like something AJDT related.

 

With my existing broken install I did the following:

 

-          Uninstall all AJDT features (incl Equinox Aspects – i.e. everything I install from the AJDT update site)

-          Restart

-          Ctrl-Shift-T now works, and only one “Open Type” appears in the shortcuts prefs

-          Re-install AJDT using update manager

-          Now everything works.

 

So, now to the logs…

 

Unsurprisingly lots of key binding conflicts.

 

Considering where this is, I suspect that the cause may have been linked with the last error before my update, which was the unweaving, not re-weaving problem that is now fixed.

 

All looks fine now.

Yep… I can get at it via the menu.  I’ll re-install from scratch.  Nothing non-standard.  Only change was updating AJDT:

My standard install is always:

-       Eclipse + Mylyn

-       Subversive

-       AJDT

Hmmm....I'm seeing the right thing.  I'm on mac, so it may be different.  As far as I know, nothing has changed that might affect the keyboard shortcuts.  Is it just a shortcut issue, or is open type broken?  (ie- Click on Navigate->Open Type, does it work?)

What is the thing that pops up in its place?

Have you installed any other non-standard plugins? They might be interfering with keyboard shortcuts.  Sometimes p2 does funky things and may update additional features without your knowing.

This one’s baffled me.  Only change is having upgraded to the latest 1.7.0 build?

 

Has anyone upgraded and found they’ve lost access to the Open Type dialog via key bindings (something opens, but it’s not the right thing… it’s a relation of the Ctrl-Shift-L popup…).  I see two entries for Open Type in the key bindings prefs now, both mapped to Ctrl-Shift-T.

 

Could this be AJDT?
