Description Stefan Xenos CLA 2005-06-13 14:39:09 EDT
See bug 99513

The recursive part creation warning could be omitted with no ill-effects. This
enhancement suggests only logging the exception when in debug mode.

I'm filing this bug for discussion because some clients find the warning
annoying. However, I'm not sure this is a good idea. Most clients are unaware
that creating cyclic dependancies between views is a bug, and they find the
warning annoying because they believe the bug is in the workbench - not their
own code. The likely result of omitting the warning is that the bugs will remain
undetected and unfixed. Suggest closing this as WONTFIX.

There are currently no plans to work on this feature.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
