Description Victor Toni CLA 2005-06-13 09:17:35 EDT
As current mouse models have often more than 3 buttons I would like to have two
more buttons predefined.
E.g.when using the Internet Explorer or Firefox the 4th button (left) goes to
the previous page. Being on the previous page using the 5th button (right) goes
to the "next" page.

Having this as an addition for "Alt-Left" and "Alt-Right" would be be very
welcome and consistent (at least on Windows).

We added support for buttons 4 and 5 for 3.1. FH to close this bug report if
there is nothing else to do.

Doug, I think this a duplicate. Don't you have a request for this yet ?
Comment 4 Victor Toni CLA 2005-08-03 13:07:50 EDT
1) Clicking on the wheel, 4th or 5th button does not do anything in my case.

2) Searching the preferences for "button", "wheel" or "mouse" does not reveal
anything.

How am I supposed to make use of the this buttons within eclipse?

(Clicking on the wheel would be a fine replacement for "F3".)
