Description Philippe Ombredanne CLA 2005-05-26 02:14:02 EDT
When you manage many workspaces to segregate plugins there is no way to
save/export and restore/import the list of CVS repos, as well as known tags:
this is a bummer.
The trick is to carry around repositoriesView.xml
under/workspace/.metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.team.cvs.ui to the new or target
workspace.
Having a nice way to drive that from the UI would be a great ddition.

Repo locations are sharable as they live in the preferences. There is also a
request for a CVS preference transfer (bug 95599). What remains is the sharing
of discovered/configured tags.

Nice, I did not see before the new file/export/preferences ...
BTW, I think it is confusing that it is notmore an available action in the prefs
window... :-(

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
