Description DJ Houghton CLA 2005-05-13 08:28:14 EDT
build i0513-0010

- I have a very customized layout.
- I only have one perspective. (customized Resource)
- most views are either stacked, fast views, or detached
- I customized my toolbar to show the Launch, Java Editing, etc icons

Occasionally during a session my toolbar will lose all icons except those which
are part of the Resource perspective. This forces me to go back and re-customize it.

I haven't found a pattern but will try to find out if there is something that I
am doing to trigger this behaviour.

Sorry, forgot to mention that there is nothing in my log file when this happens.
Comment 2 Nick Edgar CLA 2005-05-13 11:02:22 EDT
Next time it happens, please see if the corresponding menu items are gone as
well, and whether the corresponding action set is checked in Window > Customize
Perspective > Commands tab.

Did you ever same the changes using Window > Save Perspecive As...? If so, did
you choose Resource or another name?
Comment 4 DJ Houghton CLA 2005-05-13 11:13:46 EDT
I have the perspective saved as "dj".

Yep, the menu items are gone too. (that's how I noticed...was looking for the
Source menu)

I've set up a custom perspective as well, and will run with this for a while.

Reassigning bugs in component areas that are changing ownership.

Is this still a problem in 3.3?

As of now 'LATER' and 'REMIND' resolutions are no longer supported.
Please reopen this bug if it is still valid for you.
