I20050509-2000 (M7 test pass)

- open preferences dialog
- in the tree, go to General>Compare/Patch
- press Ctrl+F1 to open the help window (sticks to right side of the dialog)

> the preferences dialog is completely blocked. It does not receive any mouse
nor keyboard input.

> closing the help window fixes the problem
