I would like to be able to export settings altered in dialogs.

I assume you want this for all dialogs and not only for a particular dialog?

We already have preference exporting in 2.0. The existance of dialog settings 
is not shown to the user - not so sure that this is still required.

There are currently no plans to work on this feature
