Description Gerd Neugebauer CLA 2005-04-22 04:47:38 EDT
I have the situation to write JavaDoc in different languages (English and
German) -- depending on the project I am working on. It would be helpful to
overrule the default spelling dictionary and flags somewhere in the project
settings.
Comment 1 Hendrik Maryns CLA 2006-03-17 07:15:48 EST
Or to make it possible to assign multiple dictionary files and switch between them. And then be able to set a preferred language per project.

Any chance to get it into the 3.8 / 4.2?

No, we won't work on this during this release. And before working on this bug we should first push down the spelling engine from JDT to Platform (bug 185695).

good, it looks that there is a patch for bug 185695. Can you please add a dependency from this bug to bug 185695? Thanks!

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.

If the bug is still relevant, please remove the "stalebug" whiteboard tag.
Comment 7 Gerd Neugebauer CLA 2019-11-14 07:14:04 EST
The situation has not changed for a long time. Now I am used to work with a workaround and the change request ist really important any more.
