When an error dialog appears, an animation is shown of a black border which
grows from the bottom right up to where the dialog is displayed.

Today, I was working in another virtual desktop, when an error dialog was
presented in my eclipse instance.  Even though the Eclipse window was not
visible, I saw the animation on the current virtual desktop.

It is still an issue. I can reproduce it on Win XP.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.
