Not all languages observe the rule that partition delimiters cannot contain new
line characters. XQuery and RELAX NG compact syntax, to give two examples. It's
good to improve performance; even better to solve the problem.

Can you give more details i.e. is there something you cannot do with the new
FastPartitioner that you can do with the deprecated one?
