Description Bob Foster CLA 2005-02-18 23:06:39 EST
(From Assaf Urieli's comment on bug 64567) Copying source files from one project
(default cp1252) to another project (default utf-8). Ideally, the encoding of
the file should be changed from cp1252 to utf-8, with appropriate conversions.
Instead, the text becomes scrambled.

Done (Bug 85897).
Comment 2 Tod Creasey CLA 2007-06-14 13:05:17 EDT
There are currently no plans to work on this although we would be happy to review a patch
Comment 3 Eclipse Webmaster CLA 2019-09-06 16:06:00 EDT
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
