Description Tod Creasey CLA 2005-02-09 14:50:19 EST
We need to decide what to do about preferences that are to be promoted to API as
this will cause a change in preference store.
Comment 1 Nick Edgar CLA 2005-02-10 11:09:44 EST
This is not an RCP issue per se. RCP apps often want more configurability than
is needed in the IDE stack, but the IDE stack has the same problem.
I'm happy to work together on a solution, but I think with all the work going on
in the prefs area, it would be better for Tod to own this problem.

There are currently no plans to work on this although we would be happy to review a patch

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
