The new property for text file encoding for each file is great. However, one
more step is needed, and that is to remember the font used for editing each
file. For example, we have a language translation program. The Japanese
dictionary file needs to be in a unicode font that displays Japanese
characters. But the Spanish dictionary file needs a different font that has all
the Spanish characters. This problem is exacerbated when combining languages
like Japanese, Chinese, Hebrew and/or Arabaic in one application. In some,
cases, it is not even possible to use an all-in-one Unicode font as the
representations of the same characters differ across languages.
