- run the ControlExample, go to the Combo tab
- listen for DragDetect
- try to start a drag on the example combo on the page and you'll see that 
DragDetect is only fired if your drag begins along one of the combo's borders
- this may be similar to bug 78554

This behaviour hasn't changed in HEAD.

Works on cocoa. I am able to drag the selected text.
