Create a GLA packaging doc so products know how to package it.
Theme: Design for Extensibility: Be a Better Platform and Appealing to the Broader Community Make it easier for tool builders to embed GLA into their products.
Reassigning to Nellie as she or her backup will be doing the doc work. This document will also include programming information on how to use the Adapter class (JavaDoc information on API).
Note, this document may be more appropriate to post on the TPTP web site as opposed to adding it to the online help.
Changing to P1 as per the 4.1 official plan.

The standalone GLA is a new package. It need documentations. According to Dave, there documentation from AC can be reused. Here is a note from Dave: Copied from dulplicate bug: Yes, see https://w3.opensource.ibm.com/web/ac- tech/drops/3.3.0_20050410_2220.html for the AC GLA runtime documentation. We probably can reuse it but just need to strip out the IBM specific stuff. The Getting Started doc is mostly a regurgitation of some of the online GLA help so may not be necessary for the TPTP download page. It was provided on AC for those users that did not install LTA and therefore did not have access to the online help. But for users creating new adapter files they need LTA for the GLA editor.
Changing this back to P1 to match the PMC's priority in the official feature plan.
Changing to i1 as per our conversation.
This document is to be posted on the TPTP web site.
Ruth, I am reassigning this to you so you can post the document to the web site. I'll attach the document here.
Created attachment 27760 [details] Document for this feature to be posted on the web site
Checked in. I made some small modifications to the file that Dave wrote: 1. I added a subheading, "Documentation for consumers" 2. I changed "Oct 3, 2005" to a JAVASCRIPT to always report the latest modification date of the file. (This way we won't have to remember to update the date every time that we change the file.) 3. Fixed a few HTML typos: & to &, > to > < to <, added a few </a>. The index.php of the Monitoring project has been updated, as has the index.html of the main Documentation page.
Fixed as per my other comment.
