Description Bruno Hedman CLA 2004-11-16 14:14:44 EST
It would be great to be able to optionally configure the java editor to wrap the
tabs of open documents as multiple rows rather than having to scroll
horizontally through the tabs.

This is the feature I miss most from Forte/NetBeans. I typically keep many docs
open and find myself doing a lot of mouse-overs and scrolling in order to
discover the doc I want (or using ctrl-shift-W, but this takes me away from the
mouse if I'm doing a lot of mouse exploring/hunting through classes).

With a wrapped tab interface I could use the (existing) tab width adjustment
feature in combination with resizing of other non-editor windows in order to
create an environment where I can immediately visually identify the tab I want
and still have an acceptably large editor window.

This has nothing to do with the java editor.
