Description Richard Home CLA 2004-11-09 15:07:33 EST
Currently, the printer font is tied to the editor font. Typically, printers
have a much better resolution than displays, and it is useful to print a
document in a smaller font than can be acceptably displayed on the screen.
Selecting a smaller print font allows longer lines to be used without
wrapping, and saves paper.

It ought to be possible to define the printer font/size separately from the
editor font. The tab settings ought to be definable as well. For example, if
the developer has selected to keep tabs in the source code, it might still be
required to expand them before sending to the printer.

Less importantly, syntax highlighting settings could be separately
configurable to allow for black/white printing.
