Steps To Reproduce: 1. Start WSWB 2. Carefully observe the background color of all icons especially the greyed out disabled icons 3. Right click on the desktop and select Properties 4. At Themes tab of Display Properties dialog window, change the theme to another Windows Theme (Lilac is good) and select Apply 5. Carefully observe the background color of all icons Results: All disabled icons do not use the correct background color as other enabled icons. Expected Behaviour: All disabled icons should use the same background color regardless of Windows theme as others Windows Programs do (i.e. Word, Outlook, IE, etc.). The workaround is to shut down the current session and restart a new one.
Need to check 2.0.
In build 20020115 the icons pickup the correct background colours but the gradient on the tabs stays at the old system colour when the change occurs.
Filed SWT bug 7846.
To be addressed in a later release
Reopening so as to track SWT progress.
Actually not WinXP as indicated by use of word "theme". Go to Appearances Tab and Scheme, change to Lilac.
Tabs changing color properly in R2.0 build.
Created attachment 2340 [details] Zip of a screenshot that shows how the icons are still incorrect (note this build uses WSWB 2.0.1) Note the problem exhibits with the icons not the tabs :)
Note the problem was with the icons not the tabs and they still show as bad to us using 2.0.1. I added an attachment :)
Duong please try your scenario with the current 2.1 stream. There have been fixes on the SWT side regarding coolbar and themes.
Reopen it again if you see this behavior in the 2.1 stream.
