Description Duong Nguyen CLA 2002-01-16 10:29:56 EST
There is no visual information given to a user that they can Double Click the
title bar of a window (pane) that is active to expand it to full screen...or
full shell as the case would be. It seems all windows in WSWB have however;
most people seem to find it by accident. Perhaps a tooltip could appear if you
hover over the active pane? Something like "Double Click to expand to full
view". When it's in full view, perhaps a tooltip that states, "Double Click to
retract to docked view" Or a maximize/minimize box could be displayed?

Steps to Reproduce

With any window active (i.e. a document window) in WSWB, Double Click the blue
title bar portion of the window - notice the window will expand to full shell
view. Double Click again and the window retracts to the previous size. Note
there is no indication that the window can be maximized or minimized as the
case may be.

Minor defect. Consider after higher priority problems are resolved.

Reopened for investigation

It's standard behavior across most OS' I know of that frames can be maximized by a doubleclick. Closing
as invalid.
