Description Brian Hudson CLA 2004-10-18 10:07:04 EDT
Improved indication for the current Workspace you are working in.
There is little to indicate which Workspace you are running out of. I have
several spirals of development within my app and often have several of tehse
open at once. Since the directory/project structure is nearly identical for
these it is difficult to determine what workspace I am currently looking at.

Is there any way beyond Help->About Eclipse Platform->Configuration Details then
searching for the osgi.instance.area property?

Possible Improvements:
- Named Workspaces
- Workspace name and/or path as a root element of the Navigator/Package Explorer
trees
- Workspace name and/or path in the title bar
- etc

> Workspace name and/or path in the title bar

eclipse -showlocation does exactly that.
Comment 2 Walter Harley CLA 2005-05-16 19:34:46 EDT
See also bug 34927 for a more general request for title bar config.
Comment 3 Tod Creasey CLA 2006-04-15 14:43:31 EDT
There is currently no plan to do any further work on this
Comment 4 Denis Roy CLA 2009-08-30 02:11:31 EDT
As of now 'LATER' and 'REMIND' resolutions are no longer supported.
Please reopen this bug if it is still valid for you.
