Description Mike Hoeffner CLA 2004-09-30 15:38:15 EDT
It would be useful to be able to set the background colors on individual
CTabItems instead of just the general background color (setBackground) and the
selected background color (setSelectionBackground). If this were implemented,
it would make sense to allow the foreground colors to be set in the same way.

I no longer have a current need for this however since I used the workaround of
setting uniquely colored images on each tab.

I just came across this issue in related to another bug in ECF for colored tabs, I just had to chuckle in regards to the workaround :)

Doung, any plans to include this in 3.4?

This one requires some re-designing in order for each tab item to have its own colour. Currently, the colour information is defined in the tab folder.
Comment 4 Remy Suen CLA 2008-11-12 04:00:04 EST
Would the capability of altering the tab item's text's foreground colour belong in this bug or should a separate enhancement request be filed?
Comment 5 Duong Nguyen CLA 2008-11-12 10:28:21 EST
You should enter a separate enhancement request.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
