The GLA can currently only read files in the dirrect format which they are stored. If a file is in zipped format it must first be unzipped using a convertor and then processed. For large files this isn;t feasible. The GLA should be able to handle log files which are compressed as a first class file format.
Targeted to 4.0 by the requirements team. Please create a description document in CVS.

Theme: Scaling Up This feature would allow the GLA to parse very large log files that are compressed. Additional Details of the Requirement The implementation of this feature will involve creating a new GLA sensor component to read compressed files.

Deferred to future as per Architecture Group review.
IBM Autonomic Computing group requested this be considered for inclusion in 4.2 but it is not a P1.
Setting target to future so it doesn't show up in 4.2 feature query.
Resolving this as WONTFIX because it is no longer required by the consuming product.
