Currently it is very difficult to deal with log files which are written in XML within the GLA. Writing the rules to extract the records in the extractor is very straightforward, yet the parser rules are exceading complex for data which is already structured. There should be a native mechanism that will allow rules to pull out arbitrary attribute values very efficiently.
