Description Jon Dough CLA 2004-09-08 16:35:23 EDT
I am thrilled with the Eclipse 3.0 offering. Of course, there is always room
for improvement. (SMILE)

IMHO, the current printing support is missing some very basic features
including, but not limited to the following:

* User configurable page header and footer (i.e. filename, page number, date
printed, date modified, etc).

* User configurable options (i.e. line numbers, word wrap, color/b&w, double
space, etc).

* Printing error indicators

* Printing multiple files

* Printing files without opening each file.

Perhaps the most flexible approach is to define printing preferences per
editor, extended from the default editor.

Thanks!

Check StyledText#print method and the StyledTextPrintOptions class, I think it
has everything you asked for.
I'm moving this PR to the UI team.

Several things are already covered by 13651 or other feature requests.

Note: please check bugzilla whether your features are already reported and if
not file one concrete feature per report.
